Stuart completed a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at Curtin University, and initially worked at SCGH gaining experience in Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery wards, before moving into the specialist hand and upper limb area. After finishing his time in Perth training hospitals, he was fortunate enough to spend the next 10 years working and further honing his skills in private practice. In 2018 he returned to the Public System working as Occupational Therapy Lead within the Fiona Stanley Hospital Plastics and Orthopaedics Department and Fremantle Hospital Hand Service.
With a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to patient care, Stuart is proud to have collaborated with some of Perth’s most esteemed Hand and Upper Limb Surgeons, as well as Occupational Physicians, Sports Physicians, Rheumatologists, General Practitioners. He has have provided comprehensive post-operative and conservative treatments to patients of all ages, including paediatrics, as well as workers compensation cases, and sportspeople from the weekend warrior to professional athlete.
Stuart’s vision is to create a Hand Therapy service, in which patients are afforded consistent delivery of high quality care by experienced therapists.
